Why I’m Running

“I’m not running because I need a job. I already have a great career and a life I love. I’m running because somebody has to.”

America was born out of a thirst for independence, from a government that didn’t represent us.

Our forefathers declared themselves free against impossible odds, not because they wanted to, but because they had to.

Today, we face another political crisis.

Our government, once again, doesn’t represent us. It protects a ruling class-the Democratic and Republican establishments and their special interests.

We must declare independence from this broken system.

I’ve spent my career as a journalist reporting around the country, most recently in my home, the Lehigh Valley.

Talking every day to entrepreneurs and citizens in our community, I’ve observed a common sense lesson that’s enshrined in the constitution: limited government works.

People thrive when government protects our natural, God-given rights, and then leaves us alone so we can live how we choose as long as we don’t harm anyone else.

Politicians today only protect the two parties and rig the system for themselves, big business and the well connected.

All of us end up left behind, with mountains of debt, endless war, and bloated, ineffective government.

Like you, I’m exhausted by the news, and I’ve had enough. The time is here that we must, again, stand together to break free.

I believe we can, and I see a new American dawn on the horizon. If you want something different, you have to vote for something different.

In November, you’ll have a third choice for Congress in the 7th District.

Not a Democrat and not a Republican, but an independent voice.

Please take this stand with me.
